Whitney Haseman, MD is a board certified Geriatrician and native Montanan. She received her medical doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. She serves on the Administrative Board of the Montana Geriatric Education Center and the board of the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
She sees patients in her clinic, as well as in their homes as part of the Home Based Primary Care program.
My Story
Whitney Haseman grew up in Helena, Montana where she worked as a CNA in an Alzheimer’s unit of an assisted living facility during high school and college breaks. There began her love of geriatric medicine. She went to college at University of Colorado at Boulder, and later pursued her medical doctorate at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed Internal Medicine Residency and a Geriatrics Fellowship at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. Her clinical focus is comprehensive dementia care offering consultations for cognitive evaluations and cognitive impairment/dementia management. She also provides consults for comprehensive geriatric assessments, including for frailty, falls, multimorbidity, goals of care, and polypharmacy in older adults. She is available for Home Based Primary Care in the Missoula area and also sees her own panel of primary care patients in the clinic. She serves on the Administrative Board of the Montana Geriatric Education Center and the board for the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
